Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Brandon Broughton arrested Gregory Prater age 22 of Flat Mary Rd., Campton, KY on Wednesday night November 9, 2016 at approximately 9:54 PM.
The arrest occurred off Clancy Lane approximately 10 miles south of London after Deputy Broughton was dispatched to an assault complaint at a residence on McClure Bridge Road.
When Deputy Broughton arrived at the scene he learned that this subject had allegedly been in a fight with subjects at a residence there.
Deputy Broughton learned that this subject apparently had kicked a female in the face and struck another male subject in the face during the altercation.
This subject was determined to be under the influence.
This subject was found in possession of several syringes and Suboxone in a small plastic baggie.
Gregory Prater was charged with assault – fourth degree – domestic violence; possession of drug paraphernalia; and public intoxication – controlled substances and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
