Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Larry Parrott along with Deputy Rick Cloyd and Deputy Cody Faulconer arrested two individuals off Lake Pointe Drive, approximately 11 miles south of London on Tuesday night November 15, 2016 at approximately 8:33 PM.
The arrests occurred after deputies were dispatched to a complaint they had received along with four earlier calls to a residence on Lake Pointe Drive requesting a warrant to be served on Alex Bonas who was supposedly at that residence.
Prior to deputies arriving at the residence Laurel 911 Dispatch Center received a call from the residence on Lake Pointe Drive stating that there was an intruder at the residence.
When deputies arrived at the scene they were unable to get anyone to come to the door but heard an altercation inside the house with screaming.
When deputies made entry to the residence they found the individual that had placed the numerous calls to 911 dispatch center and the person that had been called on both hiding upstairs in the bedroom. The caller was found to be armed with a knife and had a pistol within his reach.
Deputies conducted an investigation and determined that the call made to the 911 dispatch center about an intruder being there was false.
Two individuals were arrested and are identified as:
The original caller: Robert Roberts age 39 of Lake Pointe Dr., Corbin charged with falsely reporting an incident.
And Alexandria Bonas age 28 of Lake Pointe Dr., Corbin charged on a Laurel County warrant of arrest charging theft by unlawful taking.
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
