Six arrests by LSO deputies on Sunday afternoon

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Detective Jason Back along with Detective James Sizemore arrested 5 individuals on drug charges following an investigation conducted off Goodin Lane, approximately 10 miles south of London on Sunday afternoon November 27, 2016 at approximately 3:35 PM.

Another person was arrested there on unrelated charges. The arrests occurred after detectives and deputies located an active meth lab there. Those arrested on drug charges included:

Jimmy Mullins age 56 of Goodin Lane, London charged with manufacturing methamphetamine – first offense

Chris Mahan age 40 of Old Bartbourville Road, Corbin charged with possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest – this subject was in possession of a needle and suspected crystal methamphetamine

Robert Weist age 36 of  Kaleb Garret Ln., Gray, Ky charged with manufacturing methamphetamine – first offense

Mark Mullins age 51 Of Goodin Ln., London charged with manufacturing meth – first offense

Patricia Stanley age 36 of Douglas Road, Corbin charged with manufacturing methamphetamine – first offense. In addition, the subject was charged on a parole violation warrant.

A 6th person arrested there on unrelated charges was:

Samantha Mullins age 40 of US 25 W., Corbin charged a Bell County bench warrant of arrest on charges of failure to appear in court on charges of theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting.

All six individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Sheriff Rick stated that the "War on Drugs" continues in Laurel County. Drug investigations will continue on a daily basis.
