Emanuel Hollow Methamphetamine Arrests in Knox County

Knox County, KY - The Knox County, Ky Sheriff's Department is reporting that on December 6, 2016 at approximately 8:40 am Knox County Deputy Keith Liford received a complaint of a man slumped over the steering wheel of a car stopped in the middle of Emanuel Hollow Road in Gray.

When Deputy Liford arrived he observed the vehicle in the roadway with the man and a female passenger inside.

When Deputy Liford approached the vehicle, he observed a bag containing 3 different types of pills and two small plastic bags of suspected methamphetamine. Deputy Liford also located 2 other plastic bags of suspected methamphetamine, numerous used syringes, a spoon and over $100.00 in cash.

Deputy Liford arrested David W Davis age 52 of Bryants Store, KY and Margie Grubb age 38 of Artemus, KY charging each of them with Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Prescription Controlled Substance not in Original Container and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

David Davis and Margie Grubb were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

Knox County Constable Reed Murphy assisted in the arrest.
