Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Larry Parrott arrested Eddie Cobb age 37 of East Laurel Rd., London on Sunday evening December 11, 2016 at approximately 5:49 PM.
The arrest occurred on Rocky Branch Road, approximately 4 miles south of London after this subject who was driving a silver colored Pontiac G6 was stopped for driving 22 mph over the speed limit.
During the traffic stop Deputy Parrott observed that this subject had slurred speech and red bloodshot eyes and conducted an investigation determining that this subject was under the influence.
Eddie Cobb was charged with speeding – 22 mph over the limit; operating a motor vehicle under the influence – second offense and other traffic violations and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
