Complaint lands 5 in Clay County Detention Center

Clay County, Ky. - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: On May 27, 2019 at approximately 10:00 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Edwards and Deputy Jeremy Gabbard was dispatched to a complaint on North Highway 421 of several subjects attempting to load a car lift.

The owner of the property showed up on scene and advised deputies that the subjects did not have permission to take the car lift.

Upon search due to incident, deputies located drug paraphernalia and illegal substances.

Paul Grubb, 32 of Saplin Fork Road was charged with:

  • TBUT or DISP All Others
  • Criminal Mischief, 2nd Degree
  • Possession of Controlled Substance, 3rd Degree- Drug Unspecified
  • Drug Paraphernalia- Buy/Possess

Betty Burkhart, 37 of Highway 1350 was charged with:

  • TBUT or DISP All Others
  • Criminal Mischief, 2nd Degree

Ronnie Burkhart, 40 of Highway 1350 was charged with:

  • TBUT Or Disp All Others
  • Criminal Mischief, 2nd Degree
  • Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Drug Unspecified)
  • Drug Paraphernalia- Buy/Possess

Michael Mullins, 38 of Memorial Drive was charged with:

  • TBUT or DISP All Others
  • Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree
  • Drug Paraphernalia- Buy Possess

Jamie Riley, 39 of Upper Rader Road was charged with:

  • TBUT Or Disp ALL Others
  • Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree
