Clay County, Ky. - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: On May 28, 2019 at approximately 1:30 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Edwards arrested Sampson Swafford, 32 of Roots Branch Road.
The arrest occurred when Deputy Edwards was dispatched to a complaint at Arrowhead Court on the above mentioned subject for being unlawfully inside a residence without permission.
Through investigation it was determined that the subject was manifestly under the influence of intoxicants.
Sampson Swafford was charged with:
- Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
- Criminal Trespassing, 1st Degree
