Laurel deputies arrest subject for Meth, Resisting Arrest & other charges

Laurel County, Ky. -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Taylor McDaniel along with Deputy Jake Miller, and Sgt. Brett Reeves arrested Arlis Rose age 60 of Corbin on Thursday morning July 4, 2019 at approximately 11:59 AM.

The arrest occurred off South Laurel Rd., approximately 8 miles South of London while deputies were investigating a complaint at a business when they encountered this individual who appeared to be under the influence.

An investigation was conducted and it was determined that this individual was under the influence and had an outstanding bench warrant of arrest.

Upon arrest this individual briefly struggled with deputies before being taken into custody.

This individual was found in possession of Methamphetamine and a glass pipe.

Arlis Rose was charged with:

  • Public intoxication – controlled substances
  • Resisting arrest
  • Disorderly conduct – second-degree
  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • A bench warrant of arrest

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Corrections Center.
