Clay Deputy Arrests Wanted Fugitive On Paw Paw Road

Clay County, Ky. (October 4, 2019) - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on October 3, 2019 at approximately 10: 30 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Wes Brumley arrested Timothy Thompson 23, of Tazewell, Virginia.

The arrest occurred when Deputy Brumley received information of a possible location of a stolen truck on Paw Paw Road.

Upon arrival Deputy Brumley came into contact with the above mentioned subject who had a strong odor of alcohol emitting from him.

During the investigation the subject gave Deputy Brumley false identifying information of who he was, Deputy Brumley determined the true identity of the subject who was wanted out of Virginia with confirmation from Clay County Dispatch.

Timothy Thompson was charged with:

• Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place
• Giving Officer False Identifying Information
• Fugitive (From Another State)
