Clay County man jailed after allegedly assaulting a female victim

Clay County, Ky. (October 12, 2019) - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on October 12, 2019 at approximately 12:15 AM Clay County Sheriff K9 Deputy Brandon Edwards arrested Kevin Hurley, 35 of South Highway 421.

The arrest occurred when Deputy Edwards was dispatched to a residence on South Highway 421 where the above mentioned subject had allegedly assaulted a female individual and was into a verbal altercation with the homeowner.

Upon arrival, Deputy Edwards came into contact with the male subject who had a shirt with blood on it in his possession.

Through investigation it was determined that the male subject had assaulted a female victim. 

Kevin Hurley was charged with: 

  • Assault 4th Degree (Domestic Violence)
  • Menacing
