Two individuals passed out in a vehicle complaint / Laurel County

Laurel County, Ky.(October 17, 2019) - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Taylor McDaniel along with Sheriff John Root, Maj. Chuck Johnson, Capt. Kevin Berry, Deputy Joey Robinson, and K-9 Deputy Jake Miller arrested two individuals on Wednesday afternoon October 16, 2019 at approximately 1:21 PM.

The arrests occurred in a business parking lot off North Laurel Road, approximately 1/2 mile north of London after investigators from the Sheriff's office were dispatched to a complaint of two individuals passed out in a vehicle there.

Upon arrival at the scene, deputies located two individuals in a vehicle and noted that the male subject was found in possession of Suboxone and a hypodermic needle.

The female subject was located apparently passed out in the vehicle and investigators conducted an investigation determining that she was under the influence.

The two arrested individuals were identified as:

Frank McDade age 39 of Jackson Street, Corbin charged with:

  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense

Amanda Eads age 28 of Jackson St., Corbin charged with:

  • Public intoxication – controlled substances

 These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
