MANCHESTER, KY, (October 19, 2019) - The City of Manchester Fire Department is reporting that: At 3:45 PM on Friday, October 18, 2019 the Manchester Fire Department was dispatched by Clay County 911 to a structure fire on Railroad Avenue in East Manchester.
Upon arrival units discovered heavy smoke showing from the residence coming from what appeared to be a kitchen fire.
Units made entry into the residence, stopping the fire with minimal to no damage in the kitchen area of the residence.
Units set up a positive pressure ventilation fan to the front door of the residence to clear all the smoke out.
Units then cleared the scene with no further incident.
