Arrest at scene of suspected Methamphetamine lab in Clay County

Clay County, Ky. (November 17, 2019) - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on November 15, 2019 at approximately 8:00 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Wes Brumley arrested Denvard Duff, 48 of Yaegar Road.

The arrest occurred when Deputy Brumley responded to an anonymous tip that possible Methamphetamine was being actively manufactured at a residence off of Paw Paw Road.

Upon arrival Deputy Brumley came into contact with the above mentioned subject outside a residence, through investigation it was determined the subject was under the influence and various amount of suspected Methamphetamine was located.

Clearing the scene of the suspected Methamphetamine lab was Sheriff Patrick Robinson and Chief Chris Fultz.

Denvard Duff was charged with:

• Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
• Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)

Assisting at the scene was Manchester City Police K9 Officer Ryan Jackson and Officer Antonio Dodson.
