London man facing multiple charges after arrest in Clay County with 2 others

Warrant arrests 11 20

Garrard, Ky. (November 20, 2019) - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on November 20, 2019 at approximately 4:30 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Wes Brumley was doing routine patrol on South Highway 421 when he entered a place of business behind the Garrard Car Wash.

Deputy Brumley came into contact with three individuals whose information was ran with Clay County Dispatch confirming that each subject had an active warrant. 

James Smith, 40 of London was charged with:

  • All terrain vehicles violation
  • Fleeing or evading police, 1st degree (motor vehicle)
  • Fleeing or evading police, 2nd degree (on foot)
  • Failure to comply W/Helmet law O/21 years of age
  • Serving Bench Warrant for court
  • Serving warrant (For other police agency)

Jennifer Gibson, 40 of Crawford Isom Road was charged with:

  • Serving Bench Warrant for Court

John Wayne Smith, 52 of Saplin Fork Road was charged with:

  • Serving Bench Warrant for Court
