Infants inside car that was struck by a tree in Clay County

Clay County, Ky. (December 2, 2019) - The City Of Manchester Fire Department is reporting that: At 1:30 PM on December 1, 2019 the City Of Manchester Fire Department was dispatched by Clay County 911 to a vehicle that had been struck by a tree that was still on top of the vehicle.

Upon arrival units discovered there was two very small infants in the back seat of the vehicle.

Both infants were checked out by Clay County EMS.

The children were not transported to AdventHealth Manchester.

Units provided traffic control until the tree was removed from the roadway by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. All units then cleared the scene with no further incident.
