LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Allen Turner along with Deputy Hunter Disney and Deputy Jamie Etherton arrested Matthew A. Mullins age 30 of London on Saturday night February 1, 2020 at approximately 8:31 PM.
The arrest occurred off Corn Cemetery Road, approximately 9 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies conducted an investigation and learned that allegedly this subject had put a 15 year old female juvenile in a chokehold following a disagreement there.
Matthew Mullins was charged with:
- Strangulation – second-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
