LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy James Fox along with Deputy Tommy Houston, K-9 Deputy Gary Mehler, and Deputy Justin Taylor arrested four individuals early Sunday morning March 8, 2020 at approximately 12:38 AM.
The arrests occurred off Payne Trail, approximately 4 miles east of London after deputies were dispatched to a fight complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies located multiple subjects outside yelling and creating a disturbance and conducted an investigation determining that all were under the influence.
The four arrested individuals were identified as:
William Patrick Johnson age 22 of London charged with:
- Alcohol intoxication in a public place
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
Michael Root, Jr. age 21 of London charged with:
- Alcohol intoxication in a public place
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
Michael Root, Sr. Age 50 of London charged with:
- Alcohol intoxication in a public place
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
Brittany Nicole Nicholson age 35 of London charged with:
- Alcohol intoxication in a public place
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
All four subjects were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
