Methamphetamine seized for 9 consecutive days in one southern, Kentucky county

CORBIN, KY - (May 1, 2020) - The Whitley County Sheriff's Department is reporting that: Whitley Deputies have been working long hours to reduce the amount of Methamphetamine in our county. Whitley County Deputies have seized Methamphetamine for 9 consecutive days.

On Tuesday evening, deputies were working the area of Corinth Road in Corbin.

While deputies were working an injury accident, Deputy JB Coffey noticed a suspicious vehicle in the area.

Deputies JB Coffee and Jonas Saunders stopped the vehicle and located 22 grams of Methamphetamine and $2200.00 of suspected drug related currency.

Sgt. Saunders arrested Dale Madden

Dale Madden was charged with:

  • Trafficking in Methamphetamine

This individual was lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.
