Police in Kentucky find small child where a large amount of suspected Fentanyl is seized during Drug Complaint Investigation

LONDON, KY (May 18, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Bryon Lawson arrested Kyle Matthew Robinson age 34 of Mt. Zion Rd., East Bernstadt on Thursday afternoon May 14, 2020 at approximately 4:15 PM.

The arrest occurred off Carl Hurley Lane, approximately 10 miles north of London while deputies were conducting a drug complaint investigation there.

Deputies found this subject in possession of:

  • Suboxone
  • A large amount of suspected Fentanyl
  • Digital scales
  • A large amount of U.S. currency

In addition, a small child was located there.

Kyle Matthew Robinson was charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first offense (Carfentanil of Fentanyl derivatives)
  • Possession of a controlled substance – third-degree
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Endangering the welfare of a minor

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
