LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Daniel Reed along with Sgt. Greg Poynter arrested Daniel Laws age 38 of London on Wednesday night May 20, 2020 at approximately 6:55 PM.
The arrest occurred on US 25 approximately 8 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched to a fight in progress on Branch Road East.
Prior to arrival at the scene deputies were advised that suspects were leaving in a red truck.
Deputies were able to locate the suspect vehicle heading north on US 25 and conducted a traffic stop learning that the vehicle was a reported stolen vehicle from Rockcastle County.
Daniel Laws was charged with:
- Receiving stolen property under $500
In addition this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court warrant charging:
- Terroristic threatening – second-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
