Two wanted suspects apprehended by Police in southern Kentucky

LONDON, KY (June 25, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective James Sizemore along with Detective Bryon Lawson arrested two individuals on Thursday morning June 25, 2020 at approximately 11:24 AM.

The arrests occurred off Barbourville Road, approximately 6 miles southeast of London after the Sheriff's office developed information on the whereabouts of two wanted individuals.

Arrested was:

Farlin N. Lawson age 52 of London charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – second offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia after this subject was found in possession of needles and a glass pipe with residue while Sheriff's investigators were serving a warrant there

In addition this subject was charged on a Laurel Circuit Court bench warrant of arrest charging probation violation regarding charges of:

  • Receiving stolen property under $10,000
  • Two counts of tampering with physical evidence
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Public intoxication – controlled substances
  • Fleeing or evading police – second-degree – on foot
  • Resisting arrest
  • Two counts of probation violation

Tammy Creech age 53 of London charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:

  • Theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting under $500

These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
