Police make drug bust at motel in Manchester, Kentucky

MANCHESTER, KY (July 23, 2020) - The Manchester Police Department is reporting that: On Thursday July 23, 2020 officers with the Manchester Police Dept received a tip of Methamphetamine being sold from a room at the Heritage Inn.

MPD Officers responded to the room and the occupants inside gave the officers permission to search the room for illegal substances.

A substantial amount of Methamphetamine and some Marijuana was found in a bag under the mattress in the room along with drug paraphernalia, digital scales and baggies.

Arrested was:

Randy Davidson age 54 Oneida, Ky.

Angela Jones age 44 of London, Ky.

Davidson and Jones were both charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance (Methamphetamine)
  • Poss of Marijuana
  • Drug paraphernalia

These two individuals were lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
