MANCHESTER, KY - The City of Manchester Fire Department is reporting that: On Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 2:47 PM the City of Manchester Fire Department was dispatched by Clay County E-911 to a head-on motor vehicle collision on US-421 South.
Upon arrival there was one vehicle over an embankment with patients still inside.
Firefighters extricated all 3 patients from the vehicle under supervision of Clay County EMS.
Units then provided traffic control and a landing Zone.
Clay County EMS transported 3 subjects to the nearby landing zone where they were flown to a level 1 trauma center.
All units returned to service with no further incident.
