Three arrested during drug complaint investigation off Old Crab Orchard Road in Laurel County, Ky.

Contraband suspects 9 11 20

LONDON, Ky - Laurel County Sheriff John Root Along with Sheriff's detectives and deputies arrested three individuals at a residence off Old Crab Orchard Road approximately 3 miles north of London on Friday morning September 11, 2020 at approximately 10:14 AM.

The arrests occurred while the Sheriff's office was conducting a drug complaint investigation and serving an outstanding warrant when they located three subjects at a residence there and found two of the individuals in possession of:

  • A large amount of Methamphetamine
  • Needles
  • Marijuana
  • Drug paraphernalia

Those arrested were identified as:

Hallie M.Simpson age 35 of Richmond Rd., London charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Drug paraphernalia
  • Trafficking in Marijuana first offense

This individual was also charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:

  • Failure to appear in court on charges of public intoxication – controlled substances
  • Resisting arrest

Marvin Agee age 42 of Caddo Lake Court, London charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Drug paraphernalia
  • Trafficking in Marijuana first offense

Lacey Zainaldin age 36 of Widner Cir., Franklin, Ky. charged with:

  • Public intoxication – controlled substances

All three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.

Assisting on the investigation and arrests for the Laurel County Sheriff's office were: Laurel County Sheriff John Root, Maj. Chuck Johnson, Lieut. Chris Edwards, Detective Richard Dalrymple, Detective James Sizemore, Detective Bryon Lawson, Detective Robert Reed, and Deputy Allen Turner.

Laurel County Sheriff John Root stated drug investigations will be continuing in Laurel county.
