Two arrests during a Suspicious Persons complaint investigation in Laurel County, Ky.

LONDON, KY (September 30, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler along with Deputy Dustin Saylor arrested two individuals on Tuesday night September 29, 2020 at approximately 7:06 PM.

The arrest occurred off Willie Green Road, approximately 3 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a male and female subject who appeared to be under the influence and acting suspiciously there.

Upon arrival at the scene deputies conducted an investigation determining that the male and female subject were both under the influence.

In addition, deputies found the female subject in possession of both Suboxone and Gabapentin in a prescription pill bottle.

Also, the male subject was found in possession of a debit card belonging to someone else.

The two arrested individuals were identified as:

Timothy W. Taylor age 50 of London charged with:

  • Public intoxication – controlled substances
  • Theft– receipt of stolen credit/debit card

Emily Monroe Taylor age 43 of London charged with:

  • Public intoxication – controlled substances
  • Prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense
  • Possession of a controlled substance

These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
