HYDEN, KY - (November 13, 2020) - The Leslie County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that: On Monday, November 9th Chief Deputy Jeremy Vega responded to a single vehicle accident on the Hal Rogers Parkway.
Upon arrival to the accident Chief Vega observed that the driver of the car, Carl Brown Jr. of Hyden, Ky. had an odor of Marijuana on his person.
Upon search, a Marijuana joint, 8gm of a crystal white substance believed to be Crystal Methamphetamine, a glass pipe and $554.00 in cash was found on Brown’s person.
Carl Brown Jr., 53 was arrested and charged with:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (>2gm, Methamphetamine)
- Drug Paraphelnia
- Possession of Marijuana
This individual was lodged in the Leslie County Detention Center.
