LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Allen Turner arrested Janet Lewis age 47 of East Bernstadt on Monday morning November 30, 2020 at approximately 11:41 AM.
The arrest occurred off Highway 1376 approximately 7 miles north of London after Deputy Turner was dispatched to a complaint of a dog inside a kennel that appeared malnourished.
Upon arrival at the scene, deputy Turner conducted an investigation.
Janet Lewis was charged with:
- Cruelty to animals – Second-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
