December, 2020 Programs for Clay County, Kentucky from the Cooperative Extension Service

MANCHESTER, KY (December 13, 2020) - Clay County Cooperative Extension Service upcoming programs for December, 2020.

♦There will be a Pesticide Training on Tuesday, December 15th at 5:00 pm at the EXCEL Building beside McDonalds.  Please check your pesticide card to see when it expires or call the office at 598-2789 and we can check for you.  Please call us to register.

♦Don’t forget we have several free Grab and Go Bags in the vestibule for you to pick up that have educational information in them on a variety of topics. We have fixed this, so you don’t have to come into the office, if you don’t want to, for your safety. These bags are advertised on our Facebook page: Clay County Cooperative Extension Service.  Lora hopes you have found the page on Facebook. If you haven’t, look us up!

Cooking by the Calendar will be December 16th at 1:30 pm on Facebook Live.  Lora will present the December recipe from the Food & Nutrition Calendar.  Join others that love to cook.

Japanese Embroidery is January 28th at 1:30 pm. We will be doing this by zoom it’s easy to set up. You just click on the link that I send you via email. You will come to the office and pick up your supplies. Please call 598-2789 to register.

Eastern Kentucky Virtual Beekeeping School will be on Saturday, January 16, 2021 via Zoom. All times are Eastern time zone. For more information and to register, call the Perry County Extension Office (606-436-2044), provide your name, address, phone number and email address. A link will be sent to your email sometime a week before the school. Visit the Perry County Extension Service web page at http://ces.ca.uky.edu/perry and click on the Ag & Natural Resource link for a registration form or contact Charles May at .
