WILLIAMSBURG, KY - The Whitley County Sheriff's Department is reporting that: On Wednesday, December 30, 2020, acting on an anonymous tip, Whitley Deputies arrested two individuals.
The arrests occurred after Whitley Deputies located the following at a residence:
- 15 Marijuana plants
- Scales
- Baggies
- Other Marijuana
Sgt. Jonas Saunders charged Martin Canada and Vanessa Chadwell with:
- Cultivation in Marijuana over 5 plants
- Drug paraphernalia
- Possession of marijuana
Assisting at the scene was Trooper Donnie Jones and Deputy Mike Lawson

On Thursday, December 31, 2020, Sgt. Jonas Saunders arrested Amos Croley for:
- Possession of a Controlled substance 1st - Methamphetimine
- Possession of a Controlled substance 1st
- DUI
- Reckless driving
- Croley was also served with a bench warrant

On Tuesday December 29, 2020, Deputy JB Coffee charged Ricky Corbin of Charlottesville, VA after an incident in Woodbine with:
- Fleeing and evading 1st
- Disorderly Conduct 1st
- Resisting arrest
- Assault 3rd- Police officer
- Menacing
- Theft of identity of another w/o consent
- Drug paraphernalia
As part of the investigation, Scottie Ingram of Churchville, VA was charged with:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st
- Drug paraphernalia
