Police Locate Needles, Xanax & Suboxone Melted Down in Spoon at a London, Kentucky Residence

THOMAS Arrests 1 29 21

LONDON, KY (January 30, 2021) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root along with Sheriff's detectives and deputies arrested three individuals off Boreing Drive in London on Friday morning January 29, 2021 at approximately 11:20 AM.

The arrests occurred at a residence there while the Sheriff's office was attempting service on a process and located 3 individuals (one with an outstanding warrant of arrest) along with:

  • Needles
  • Spoons
  • Pills
  • Xanax
  • Suboxone melted down in a spoon

The three arrested individuals were identified as:

Heather Thomas age 37 of Pine Grove School Rd., London, KY charged with:

  • Possession of Drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of a controlled substance – third-degree

In addition, this individual was wanted on a Knox District Court warrant of arrest charging:

  • Theft by unlawful taking – $500 or more but under $10,000

Roger Thomas age 49 of Boreing Dr., London, KY charged with:

  • Possession of Drug paraphernalia

Arville Thomas age 50 of Boreing Dr., London, KY charged with:

  • Possession of Drug paraphernalia

All three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.

Assisting for the Laurel County Sheriff's office were: Laurel County Sheriff John Root, Maj. Chuck Johnson, Capt. Robbie Grimes, Lieut. Chris Edwards, Detective Bryon Lawson who is case officer, Detective Taylor McDaniel, and Bailiff Roy Ball.
