Manchester Teenager Jailed in Laurel County, Kentucky by Deputies Dispatched to an Out-of-Control Female Complaint

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston along with Deputy Landry Collett and Deputy Justin Taylor arrested Yessenia M. Hernandez age 18 of Manchester, KY early Monday morning February 22, 2021 at approximately 2:22 AM.

The arrest occurred off West Laurel Road, approximately 3 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to an out-of-control female complaint reporting that a female subject had climbed out of a window at a residence and was walking along West Laurel Rd.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they located the female subject who was pacing back and forth in front of Fire Station number 2 and yelling at shadow people.  This individual began yelling at deputies.

An investigation was conducted and this subject was determined to be under the influence.

Yessenia Hernandez was charged with:

  • Public intoxication – controlled substances
  • Disorderly conduct – second-degree

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
