Meth & Heroin found by LSO Investigators Responding to Assault Complaint / Three Arrested

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Taylor McDaniel along with Detective Bryon Lawson and Detective James Sizemore arrested three individuals off Bert Allen Road near McWhorter Road approximately 4 miles east of London while Sheriff's investigators were responding to a complaint that a male subject had assaulted his mother on Thursday morning April 8, 2021 at approximately 11:25 AM.

The arrests occurred off Bert Allen Road and McWhorter Road after the suspect (Ryan Wyatt) upon seeing deputies attempted to swallow two bags of suspected Methamphetamine and one bag of suspected Heroin and this subject struggled with deputies before being taken into custody.

Deputies learned that allegedly this individual had struck his mother.

In addition ,deputies located two other individuals wanted on outstanding warrants.

The three arrested individuals were identified as:

Ryan G. Wyatt age 34 of Bert Allen Rd., London charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Heroin
  • Tampering with physical evidence
  • Assault 4th degree
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Resisting arrest

Kenny Wagers age 42 of McWhorter Road, London charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:

  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

Victoria Johnson age 26 of McWhorter Road, London charged on a Whitley District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:

  • Two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of Marijuana

All three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional center.
