LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Lieut. Chris Edwards arrested Danny Hibbitts age 41 of London on Thursday morning November 4, 2021 at approximately 10:55 AM.
The arrest occurred off Hopkins Cemetery Road approximately 5 miles South of London after this subject was charged on a Kentucky Parole Board parole violation warrant charging:
1. Absconding parole supervision
2. Failure to complete treatment for substance abuse regarding a conviction in Laurel Circuit Court and in Lyon County Circuit Court on charges of:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – second-degree – first offense
- Robbery – first-degree
- Kidnapping – adult
- Promoting contraband – first-degree
- Promoting contraband – first-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
