LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Dustin Saylor along with Deputy Travis Napier arrested Cayla Joy Watson age 34 of Corbin on Wednesday afternoon December 15, 2021 at approximately 4:28 PM.
The arrest occurred off Lindsay Lane, approximately 9 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to an out-of-control female subject who had allegedly assaulted an individual there.
When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation, they learned that allegedly the suspect had struck another individual there.
Deputies noted that the suspect continued to be out-of-control creating a disturbance both inside and outside of the residence while they were there.
Cayla Watson was charged with:
- Assault 4th degree
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
