Drug Arrests after Traffic Stop of Suspicious Vehicle in Tornado Damaged area of Graves County, Kentucky

GRAVES COUNTY, KY - The Graves County Sheriff's Office is reporting that on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at approximately 9:40 P.M., Deputy Peyton Jackson and Deputy Chandler Sirls went to assist Officer Josh Hardin of the Glasgow Police who had conducted a traffic stop on Kentucky Route 58 East and Kentucky Route 121 for a suspicious vehicle that was driving through the Tornado Damaged area on Kentucky Route 131 multiple times.

During the traffic stop, deputies made contact with the driver, Gracie M. Delk, 19 of Mayfield and the passenger, Dylan T. Wiggins, 21 of Mayfield.

Deputies and Glasgow Police Officers subsequently conducted a search of the vehicle.

During the search, a Methamphetamine smoking pipe and other drug paraphernalia was found.

When Deputy Jackson went to place Wiggins and Delk under arrest, he felt something in Wiggin’s sleeve which turned out to be a scale.

When Deputy Jackson took the scale, Wiggins threw a Meth pipe out into the ditch and dropped a 2.5 Gram bag of Methamphetamine.

Both Wiggins and Delk were arrested.

Dylan Wiggins was charged with:

  • Poss Cont. Sub, 1st deg,2nd off (Methamphetamine)
  • Any Violation Charge (except traffic) Not Covered (For the curfew that was in effect)
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Menacing
  • Tampering with Physical Evidence
  • Drug Paraphernalia- Buy/Possess
  • Criminal Littering

Gracie Delk was charged with:

  • Poss Cont. sub 1st deg, 1st off (Methamphetamine)
  • Drug Paraphernalia- Buy/Possess
  • Any Violation Charge (except traffic) Not Covered (For the Curfew that was in Effect)

These two individuals were taken to the Graves County RC Center and then transported to be lodged at the McCracken County Jail.
