Remains of Man reported missing with his Daughter in Perry County, Kentucky located and identified

ARY, KY – The Kentucky State Police is reporting that on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at approximately 3:07 P.M, KSP, Post 13, Hazard, received a call advising that volunteers with Vicco and Lotts Creek Fire and Rescue had located human remains close to the creek bank in the Rowdy Community of Perry County.

Troopers responded to the scene along with the Perry County Coroner’s Office and made a positive identification.

The remains located was identified as Dale Williams, 69, of Ary. Williams was entered missing on January 4, 2022, along with his daughter Misty Williams, 43, of Ary. Rescue crews continue the search to locate Ms. Williams.

Evidence located at the scene indicated no foul play at this time. Williams will be taken to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.

This incident remains under investigation by Trooper Josh Neace and Trooper Steve Davidson.

Ary, KY. (January 4, 2022) – Kentucky State Police, Post 13, Hazard, is searching for a missing father and daughter last seen on January 1, 2022, in the Balls Fork Community of Perry County.

Dale L. Williams, 69 of Ary, is described as a male with grey/brown hair and blue eyes. He is 5’8 inches tall and 145lbs. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

Misty D. Williams, 43 of Ary, is described as a female with brown hair and hazel eyes. She is 5’4 inches tall and 210lbs. She was last seen wearing a white shirt with blue jeans and she is diagnosed with autism.
