LONDON, KY (February 11, 2022) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Follow-up arrests are continuing regarding the Laurel County Sheriff's Office continuing investigations related to “Operation Cupid” where Sheriff's deputies arrested nine individuals.
Additional arrests which occurred this week included:
Audra Quinn Hunt age 40 of Hickory Ln., East Bernstadt, KY charged on a Laurel District Court warrant of arrest obtained by Deputy Justin Taylor charging:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – second offense – Methamphetamine;
- Possession of Drug paraphernalia
Cody J. Poff age 27 of KY 6, Corbin, KY charged on a Knox District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Possession of a Controlled substance – second-degree
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.

Laurel County Sheriff John Root stated that drug investigations and arrests will continue in Laurel County.
More arrests are expected on “Operation Cupid.”
