Three Kentucky Residents Indicted for Distribution, Possession of Child Pornography

FRANKFORT, KY (April 27, 2022) – Attorney General Daniel Cameron announced on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 that action by his Special Prosecutions Unit resulted in the indictments of three Muhlenberg County residents for charges related to the distribution and possession of child pornography.

The three individuals named in the indictments were:

  • Ethan Aaron Sparks, 23, of Central City, KY
  • Gillian Marie Bledsoe, 24, of Drakesboro, KY
  • Justin Lane Gibson, 23, of Greenville, KY

On Friday, April 22, 2022, a Muhlenberg County Grand Jury indicted Sparks on:

  • One count of distribution of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor (Class D Felony)
  • 26 counts of possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor (Class D Felony)

Bledsoe and Gibson were each indicted on:

  • One count of distribution of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor (Class D Felony)

Detective Lloyd Ray of the Kentucky State Police Cyber Crimes Unit investigated the case with assistance from the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations.

Assistant Attorney General Eric Finke presented the case before the Muhlenberg County Grand Jury on behalf of the Commonwealth.

The charges in an indictment are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
