Prosecution by Kentucky Attorney General's Office Leads to Indictment of Former Correctional Officer

FRANKFORT, KY (ClayCoNews) – Attorney General Daniel Cameron has announced that action by his Special Prosecutions Unit has resulted in the indictment of a former Eddyville Kentucky State Penitentiary Correctional Officer.

According to a recent press release from the office of Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, on Monday, December 5, 2022, a Lyon County Grand Jury indicted former Eddyville Kentucky State Penitentiary Correctional Officer, Trista Fox, 38, of Fredonia, for Rape.

Fox was indicted on:

  • One count of Rape Third Degree (Class D Felony)

The case was investigated by the Kentucky State Police.

Assistant Attorney General Barbara Whaley presented the case before the Lyon Cunty Grand Jury on behalf of the Commonwealth.

The charges in an indictment are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty
