ELKHORN CITY, KY (December 21, 2022) – Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post is conducting a death investigation after a deceased male was located at a residence on Marrowbone Creek Road in the Elkhorn City community of Pike County. KSP Pikeville Post received a call of a burglary in progress on Sunday December 18, 2022 just after 8:00 A.M..
KSP Troopers responded to the residence and located the homeowner, Timothy Justice, 60 years old of Pikeville, deceased at the residence.
Justice’s body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. The cause of death is under investigation; however, foul play is suspected.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by Detective Joseph Coleman. Detective Coleman was assisted on scene by Kentucky State Police Post 9 personnel.
