LONDON, KY (January 4, 2023) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested Leslie Diana Sams – Maggard age 50 of Hyden, KY on Tuesday night January 3, 2023 at approximately 8:20 PM.
The arrest occurred off Rydell Road, approximately 10 miles South of London after this subject was charged on a Leslie County District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence
- Driving on DUI suspended license
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
