LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Stephen Walker along with Deputy Wes Brown arrested Alonzo Colson Brown age 43 of Dickerson St., Barbourville, KY on Sunday afternoon February 5, 2023 at approximately 4:34 PM.
The arrest occurred in a business parking lot off West Cumberland Gap Parkway approximately 11 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a male subject later identified as Alonzo Colson Brown age 43 from Knox County who had been asked by business staff to leave and he had refused.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they located the suspect outside in the parking lot and conducted an investigation.
The subject there was found in possession of hypodermic needles, and suspected Methamphetamine along with more drug paraphernalia.
Alonzo Brown was charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
