LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's shift Sgt. Travis Napier along with Deputy Brian France arrested Justin Moore age 24 of White Oak Rd., London on Thursday night February 9, 2023 at approximately 11:04 PM.
The arrest occurred off East Pittsburg Church Rd. approximately 2 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched to an out-of-control subject there.
Upon arrival at the scene the suspect fled out the front door of the residence, across the roadway, and into the woods.
The suspect was apprehended and during the investigation it was determined that he was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Justin Moore was charged with:
- Fleeing or evading police – second-degree – on foot
In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- Criminal trespassing – second-degree
- Possession of a controlled substance – second-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
