LONDON, KY (March 27, 2023) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Taylor McDaniel along with Deputy Greg Poynter are conducting a death investigation after a deceased male was found in a car off West Line Creek Rd. approximately 7 miles west of London on Saturday morning March 25, 2023 at approximately 11:58 AM.
Sheriff's investigators report that a passerby phoned 911 reporting a possible deceased individual in a vehicle there.
When Sheriff's investigators arrived at the scene, they determined that the individual in the vehicle there was deceased.
The deceased individual was identified as a reported missing person, Joshua Hagle age 35 of London.
An autopsy was conducted in Frankfort to assist in determining the cause of death.
The investigation is continuing by the case officer, Sheriff's Detective Taylor McDaniel.
