ARRESTED: Multiple Wanted Fugitives at a Residence in Corbin, Kentucky

Handcuffs Arrested

CORBIN, KY - The Whitley County Sheriff's Department (WCSD) is reporting that on Friday, April 7, 2023, Deputies Jonas Saunders and Tim Baker located multiple wanted fugitives at a residence in Corbin.

The WCSD Deputies through investigation located and served three (3) wanted fugitives at the residence in Corbin with warrants for their arrest.

Deputy Saunders and Deputy Baker identified the individuals taken into custody as: Shawn Keith Stehlin, age 42 of Corbin, KY, Mark Anthony Mullins, age 57 of Corbin, KY and Cayla Watson, age 35 of Corbin, KY.

After their arrest, Stehlin, Mullins and Watson were transported to the Whitley County Detention Center for processing.

Shawn Stehlin was served with:

A Laurel County Bench Warrant for:

  • Failure to Appear

Mark Mullins was  served with:

Two (2) Whitley County Bench Warrants for:

  • Failure to Appear

In addition Mullins was served with:

  • A Probation Warrant

Cayla Watson was served with:

A Laurel County Bench Warrant for:

  • Failure to Appear

These individuals were lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.

The WCSD Deputies did not reveal the location of the residence where the fugitives were located or the time of the arrests. However, according to jail records, the three subjects were all booked into the facility before 3:00 A.M Friday morning.
