LONDON, KY - The London Police Department is reporting that London Police Ofc. Andrew Lawson, assisted by Ofc. Wes Wolfe arrested a Manchester woman on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 following a traffic stop on the Hal Rogers Parkway.
Kylie T. Ampomah, 18, of Unity Drive, Manchester, KY was arrested at 1:12 A.M on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
According to Ofc. Lawson’s report, Ofc. Wolfe observed a vehicle driven by Ampomah cross the center line multiple times.
After conducting a traffic stop, the officers detected an odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle. They located a small plastic bag containing a green leafy substance believed to be Marijuana.
Ampomah failed several field sobriety tests and was arrested & transported to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
Kylie Ampomah was charged with:
- DUI,
- Careless driving
- No registration receipt and other traffic charges
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
