LONDON, KY (May 18, 2023) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested Michelle L. Jones age 40 of Ott Rd., Corbin on Wednesday evening May 17, 2023 at approximately 6:10 PM.
The arrest occurred off Slate Ridge Road at U.S. 25 approximately 5 miles South of London after Michelle Jones was charged on a Laurel County indictment warrant charging:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
- Careless driving
In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
