LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Josh Velasco along with Deputy Stephen Walker arrested Ricky Dean Johnson age 27 of East Bernstadt on Sunday afternoon June 11, 2023 at approximately 4:30 PM.
The arrest occurred off Highway 490 approximately 4 miles north of London after this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
In addition, Ricky Johnson was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on:
- Numerous registration and insurance violations
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
