IRVINE, KY – The Kentucky State Police is reporting that: KSP Post 7, Richmond was contacted just before 12:15 P.M., Wednesday, September 27, 2023, in reference to a single-vehicle collision on Dug Hill Road in Estill County.
The initial investigation indicates a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, operated by David Ross, 50, of Irvine, KY, was traveling east on Dug Hill Road.
Mr. Ross crossed the center line and exited the westbound shoulder, striking a tree.
As a result of the collision, David Ross, 50, of Irvine, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Estill County Coroner, Jimmy Wise.
The ongoing collision investigation is being conducted by Trooper Starlin Hacker.
He was assisted on the scene by Kentucky State Police personnel, Estill County EMS, Estill County Fire Department, and Estill County Coroner Jimmy Wise.
