BARBOURVILLE, KY - According to the The Knox County Sheriff's Department: On Saturday, October 7, 2023, Knox County Deputy Jesse Smith arrested Ashley Edwards age 36 of Fourmile, KY.
The arrest occurred after a Bell County Bench Warrant for failure to appear on a Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance charge was served on this individual.
During the arrest, in the subject's possession, Dupty Smith located and seized a small plastic bag containing suspected Methamphetamine and a large number of counterfeit pills.
Ashley Nicole Edwards was charged with:
- POSS CONT SUB 1ST DEG, 1ST OFF (METHAMPHETAMINE)
- TRAFF. IN LEGEND DRUGS 1ST OFFENSE
- FAILURE TO APPEAR
This individual was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center and is being held on $10,000 CASH bond with an appearance in District Court set for October 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
